‘The Dishonest Adventures of Sarah Wilson’ by Bob Clarke

Sarah Wilson was a con artist, who lived all over England in the 18th century, posing as people to gain money and fine clothes.

Bob says: “I first met Sarah when I came across an account in an 18th century newspaper of a trick she played on a Surrey farmer in the 1760s". Learn more about this fascinating character from Bob's account at this meeting.

Bob has previously spoken to us about ‘The Basingstoke Riots’
